Your child receives frequent home visits from an Open Hands worker to ensure their well-being. During these visits food, clothing and other needs are met.
Your child is supported educationally (at school or by accessing our educational Rainbow or Lighthouse Program).
Open Hands advocates for your child with relevant government authorities, as well as doctors and hospitals.

As a sponsor you will receive regular updates on your child’s progress and issues they may be dealing with. You also have the chance to exchange letters with your child and give presents on birthdays and at Christmas.
