As a charity we are dependent on your support. There are many different ways to support us!
Your donation transforms children’s lives as it enables us to do our work on the ground in Romania. Your giving enables children from disadvantaged backgrounds to discover their potential and lead a fulfilling and independent future.
At Open Hands we largely rely on private donations and fundraising to manage our projects in Romania. You can support us by donating directly to our bank account or by using PayPal.
If you are a UK tax payer, we can reclaim 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 that you donate. Gift Aid makes a huge difference to Open Hands income. Please help us by filling out the form and return it to us via post or email.

We are committed to work transparently with all resources entrusted to us and strongly believe in accountability to all our supporters. We strive to keep our administration costs to an absolute minimum and our expenses in Romania are carefully budgeted and reviewed to ensure good stewardship.
Donations will generally be used for our Family Support work or the running of the Rainbow House or Lighthouses but we reserve the right to use them where the need is greatest.
If you wish your donation to be used for a specific project, please tell us and we will try to accommodate your wish. If this proves impossible, and you are not happy for your donation to be used for another purpose, we will let you know and make a refund.
If you believe that an error has been made with the application of your donation, contact us. We will then work with you to correct any such error; if that does not prove possible, we will make a refund.
If you have enabled us to claim Gift Aid in relation a designated donation, the amount reclaimed from HMRC will be used for our general purposes unless you have notified us otherwise.
Open Hands is committed to respecting the privacy of donors; therefore, we do not sell, lend or rent mailing lists of our donors’ or contacts’ personal information to any third party. You name, address and other personal information will only be used in accordance with our Privacy Notice, which can be found below. A donor may choose to remain an anonymous donor at any time.
